UAE RULER'S LEGACY ON VIEW IN ART4YOU GALLERY! Artist Open Call towards “TRIBUTE TO UAE – RULERS PAINTINGS”exhibition. Dubai based art community, Art4you Gallery, place an open call for UAE based artists. In this exhibition we will have the topic of idealized images of rulers. Each artist will exhibit the ways rulers were depicted from all types of eras. While going through the gallery, you will experience the depiction in paintings and sculptures. Rulers' faces and bodies were depicted to be without flaw and a distinguished and wise demeanor. A ruler was always wealthy, but all of them had different ways of portraying their wealth. Here artist will present marvelously expressive paintings completely modern yet feel stepped in the classical past. Dark yet sensitive, the strong brush strokes will draw you into the mystery of the identity of portrait subject and the turmoil of their emotions. Art4you gallery founded by Jesno Jackson & Rengi Cherian, is coming up to support UAE based artists. With yet another initiative that brings positive vibes to talented artists to boost their creativity and support them through their journey. We invite’s artists to submit their artworks online for an opportunity to showcase their portrait pieces of rulers created during the last 5 years period for the art exhibition – “THE LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP” opening on 11 Jan 2021. All artists are welcome to submit original works of handmade rulers. In an era of terrible rulers, we invite artists to develop their own measuring objects with mechanical, political, or poetic implications. All mediums accepted, all sizes accepted, all ages accepted, all entries accepted. Limited seats available.
